For more than forty years, Christopher has been inspired by the extraordinary beauty of the natural world — its ever-changing light, atmosphere and moods, and the sense of calm and tranquillity it can bring to our increasingly busy lives.

Christopher's original oil paintings are particularly drawn to the timeless relationship between sea and sky: the changing light across the water, the quiet stillness of a calm sea and the ever-changing character of the sky. Christopher's aim is to creating paintings that invite the viewer to pause, reflect and experience their own sense of serenity and connection with nature.

Christopher's artistic career is complemented by academic achievement. As a mature student, he graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in 2014 at Loughborough College, England (affiliated with Nottingham Trent University) and was awarded an Outstanding Academic Achievement Award for achieving both the highest grade across all degree courses and highest dissertation mark in the 105-year history of Loughborough College.

Away from his painting, Christopher has been happily married to Jan for 46 years and together they have four children and five grandchildren. 

Today, Christopher's paintings continue to capture those moments in time when light, sea and sky come together to create something truly memorable.
